Recently on April 12-13, Tint Wizard appeared at the annual PFD Challenge in
Dublin Ohio to promote our tools and provide free samples to attendees. The
gathering saw some of the industry’s top professionals going neck-and-neck and
attracted some of the industry’s leading tool providers. If you were not able
to make it, here are some highlights from the event.

Pictured above is the picturesque competition venue as well as the competition winner Ernie Bewley in action. Ernie used the Spehar Squeegee in several complimetary tint jobs.
Sponsored by Performance Film Distributing, this exciting event put the best
against the best to allow tint professionals from all corners of the US to show
off their talent. The event consisted of 2 parts: the seminar where tint
professionals met and mingled, and learnt about new products, tools and
techniques and the Best of the Mid West Tint-off, an automotive tinting
competition where the winner took home $1000.00 in cash. The competion was
based on quality, clarity and speed. Ernie Bewley from Ernies Tint Creations in
Akron Ohio claimed the title for a second year in a row.
Geof Spehar poses with Performance Film Distributing
Among the tools showcased by Tint Wizard were, the Film Star,
the Whale Tale and the Two Way trimmer. These particular tools exemplify our
innovative drive. Featured this month, The Whale Tale was demonstrated our main
focus where Geof Spehar educated Tint Professionals on how to Mold it’s blade
into a custom form to shoe fit every tinter’s style. Watching the demonstration
made it evident why other tool manufacturers have recently introduced similar
products.
Performance Film Distributing which is located in Dublin Ohio has been holding
the event for over ten years, introducing the Best of the Mid West Tint-off
three years ago. Lead by George Lewis, this close to 30 year veteran of film
and supplies manages a 18 person operation. PFD centers its business around a customer-first attitude
which is a testament to their success and loyal customer base. To learn more,
